Students for Life Making a Change
The students of the program chose to give up their voices for the day to honor over 2,300 unborn babies whose voices are taken away by abortion. Harlei Mansfield, an advocate for abortion being a violation of human rights says she loved being apart of the movement because she feels strongly about what she believes in. Through the course of the day, she alone handed out at least 40 papers about abortion. She states, “That’s maybe 40 people who didn’t know about abortion, or how often it happens. You know, maybe I even influenced someone to think more deeply about the issue, maybe they‘re pro life now. That’s what makes me the happiest.”
Other students who participated thought the day was a great success in informing the school about abortion.
