MORP — The Backwards Prom
With rules and regulations of COVID 19 being followed and enforced at CHS, senior parents gathered together to plan a prom outside of the school. The dance was nothing any Caledonia student had experienced before. There were a limited number of tickets available. Tickets were first available to seniors and their guests, weeks after senior tickets opened up, the juniors were able to buy the remainder of the tickets. The dance was hosted at Wildwood Farms in Alto, Michigan. The venue was decorated and featured yard games, dance floor, bonfires and photo booth. Each activity was supervised by parents, allowing things to run smoothly. They also had snacks and refreshments available. Everything was hosted outside, it was a chilly night and the high was under 52 degrees. It was so cold students were jumping up and down, dancing crazy to stay warm. Students liked this event and it put some normal into the lives of seniors.
