FFA Hosts “Drive Your Tractor School” Day

Every year, Caledonia’s Future Farmers of America’s program hosts an FFA week which helps to raise money for their program at Caledonia High School.

In order to show representation of their program, FFA offers a “drive your tractor to school” day. Early in the morning, students and tractor drivers met with Officer Frederick at the Cal Plex to be escorted to school. Once at school, they parked in the back of the parking lot, showing off their farm equipment. At the end of the day, they paraded out with their tractors. “When we drive our tractors to school it makes us feel very proud because it shows our background as kids,” stated Colton Meyer

Nevertheless, the Caledonia FFA students proudly represent the agricultural background of Caledonia.
