The Cal Connection is a truly student-run news site created by the Journalism class at Caledonia High School. The class is made up of sophomores through seniors who, under two student editors-in-chief, Ryan Smith and Emma Nguyen, determine what to cover, take their own photos and write their own stories, publish accepted work, and maintain the website. Other CHS classes may also highlight exceptional work from their non-Journalism students in the Student Showcase under the Community tab. Unless otherwise stated, all published work belongs to the student who wrote it and represents their beliefs solely, not as a representation of the Journalism class or Caledonia High School.
