The boys basketball team welcomes Friday night basketball with a home opener. After traveling to Wayland  Tuesday 12/10 and scoring 71 points to win by 30, the boys are excited to bring things home. It’s been quite some time since the last home basketball game. Junior guard Koby VanderWoude looks to take on Friday nights by saying “I’m super excited to be back at home, and I think we’re going to come out with a big win Friday night”. This week’s opponent, Byron Center, won their last game beating Jenison 64-48. However, the Fighting Scots feel prepared to take on the challenge. With the crowd most likely chanting the nickname “Kargley”, senior shooting guard Keegan Peterson looks to “show improvements throughout the game, knowing that the home opener is going to be fun”. The game starts after the girls play, at roughly 7:30 on Friday 12/13. The theme is “Christmas Out”, so bring your Santa hats and be ready to cheer!
